Monthly networking in Sheffield with the South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network.Â

The South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network (est. 2003) is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes and enables film-based networking and filmmaking activities in South Yorkshire.
They provide networking opportunities almost every month, host film screenings celebrating the work of the region's filmmakers and beyond, hold regular training workshops and masterclasses and host competitions like the exciting 2Weeks 2Make It each year.
They programme the longest running monthly film night in the country: Showroom Shorts at the Showroom Cinema, in Sheffield.
They also provide discounts for members, affordable equipment hire and one-to-one advice and signposting.

"For some time now, we have enjoyed welcoming actors from the Day One Actors Network to our screenings and ‘Shooters in the Pub’ monthly networking events.
This has been an enriching experience for ourselves who run the Network but most especially for our filmmaker members, who can regularly meet actors from the Day One network every month. This makes for a more cohesive creative community in the region; there’s strength in numbers.
Join us on the first Wednesday of every month, from 7pm at Triple Point Brewery, Sheffield to find out more."
Rob Speranza, SYFN Founder.
